Dr. Valli Parthasarathy:
Dr. Valli Parthasarathy is a board-certified veterinary behaviorist and owner of Synergy Veterinary Behavior in Portland, OR. She specializes in helping families address unwanted behaviors in dogs, cats, birds, horses, and other animals. Her focus is on positive behavioral change through education, mutual understanding, and improving relationships between people and their pets.
Dr. Valli is a respected speaker at national and international conferences on topics related to veterinary behavior. Outside of her work, she is a passionate science fiction and fantasy fan, enjoying books, graphic novels, movies, and anime.
Lorenzo:
Lorenzo grew up on a petting zoo and cattle farm in Kentucky, surrounded by a diverse range of animals. After earning his BA from Portland State University in 2012, he pursued a career in animal behavior, specializing in managing aggression, fears, phobias, and separation-related distress using a relational and ethological approach.
In his free time, he enjoys dog sports like agility, tracking, and dock diving, as well as caring for his aging cockatiel, boa constrictor, and baby tarantulas.
